Quality Design & Construction

3823 Junction Blvd.  Raleigh, NC  27603

These homeowners have decided that they really like their neighborhood and their house if only they could make their home better suit their needs as they age gracefully.   They called us to see if we could install a curbless shower stall and improve the function and flow of the small master bathroom.  The toilet has been relocated beside the raised height vanity.  Only problem, that left us with a window in the shower.  The solution – a window film that lets light in but obscures the view to assist with privacy.  Blocking is strategically placed behind the curbless shower walls so additional grab bars could be added in the future if necessary.  The door to the bathroom is 2’8” to accommodate any mobility issues these homeowners may encounter in the future.  Lastly, we raised the ceiling in the room providing more volume and a much more spacious feeling.

The homeowner said "I love the new bathroom.  We went from dark, cramped and awkward to bright, spacious, beautiful and accessible.

This was the second major project that Quality Design & Construction did for us.  We greatly value the quality of their work and their responsiveness to any issues, large or small, that arise.  And I really appreciated their patience, flexibility and valuable suggestions as our bathroom design changed and evolved to suit us better as we get older.  The final result is far beyond anything I had imagined."
