BEFORE REMODEL

After a short hiatus from the Triangle area, this Raleigh homeowner
returned to once again find himself in the market for a local
remodeler. Having worked with Quality Home Improvements by David J.
Mackowski, Inc. in the past, he had the vision to realize that the
townhome he was purchasing could be transformed into so much more than
the three small boxes on the downstairs level.
Working within the confined space of the existing home, we removed
walls and installed columns with a steel beam across the new expanse
creating an unobstructed, panoramic view of the golf course the
homeowner hoped to achieve.
Interweaving new cherry hardwood flooring with the existing hardwood
flooring was a cost effective way to continue the beautiful warmth of
the hardwoods from room to room.
Painting the kitchen cabinets and adding some new custom crafted
kitchen cabinets, recessed lighting, new appliances, a tile backsplash
and a fresh coat of paint and wallpaper completed the exquisite
background for living and entertaining. Extending the solid surface
countertop with granite anchors the rooms and blends form with
function. |
