BEFORE

After deciding to update their kitchen these homeowners realized the areas in close proximity needed additional remodeling.  We removed the outdated wallpaper and chair railing.  We replaced the toilet with a comfort height commode.  We installed a Johnny cabinet to increase storage in this small space.  The new taller Showplace cabinets natural cherry  and matching framed mirror are accented by the Cambria Bradshaw quarts countertop which is carried throughout the entire house.  New lighting illuminates the small powder room.  Type your paragraph here.

The judges complimented how we repurposed some of the trim and our attention to detail and design.

The homeowners said "We are extremely pleased with the upgrades to the powder room.  The natural cherry cabinets and mirror, quartz vanity top, brushed nickle plumbing fixtures, and light blend the powder room perfectly with the adjacent kitchen and mudroom.  Having the wall color in the same family, but a shade lighter than the kitchen again ties to two spaces together with the lighter shade giving the small space of the powder room a larger feel.  The pull down storage in front of the vanity is a nice additional touch and the exhaust fan is much quieter yet moves more air than the fan it replaced.

The workers were courteous and friendly, and we enjoyed having them in our house.  The workspace was left neat, clean and sage at the end of each day.  The attention to detail, especially with respect to not getting paint on the naturally finished crown molding and the placement of the light fixture with respect to the mirror and sink is greatly appreciated.  Replacing the door hinges and doorknob with brushed nickel to match the rest of the metal in the powder room and kitchen is a touch that we would not have considered.  Although it is a small space, the upgrades to the powder room are what was needed to make the other changes on the first floor feel as though they are all a part of the same design scheme.  We are thrilled with the results."
