The highlight of the cooking area is the 36" 17,500 btu DCS gas cooktop accented by the 2 x 6 Pratt and Larson Dec Arch above. The cooktop is accompanied by a DCS 30" wall oven and a GE Advantium Speed Cook Oven a GE stainless steel refrigerator and to help in keeping everything clean a Bosch Integra dishwasher. Hidden above the tile arched backsplash is a custom designed hood conceals a high powered 34" Venta Hood liner to help eliminate cooking odors. The field tile is Somerset Satin Antistone and is highlighted with Ann Sacks Topiary deco 3" x 6".

The ShowPlace cabinetry in the kitchen has many features including a super susan in the corner, a bread drawer, pull out shelves as well as deep pot drawers located under the cooktop. The cabinets are made of rustic cherry with a sienna glaze and carmel stain.
The homeowner will not have to worry about scrubbing grout lines since all the tile is sealed with mushroom SpectraLock epoxy grout.

The ambient incandescent lighting is provided by recessed ceiling fixtures, while xenon under cabinet lights provide indirect lighting, a decorative chandelier provides lighting in the eating area and a three light island light is suspended above the island and helps transform this kitchen from a utilitarian space into a spectacular entertaining space.
